The Canopy is the premier veteran paratrooper publication. Twelve times a year, our subscribers receive an update on the airborne combatant commands, local organizational news, and original paratrooper content. An engaged community is a connected community. We keep our brotherhood of veterans up to date with the active duty troops.
The Canopy was started more than 30 years ago as the local chapter newsletter for the North Central Florida All-Airborne Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association. Over the years, a number of editors have instilled their own unique style and voice to publication.
The publication is open to anyone, active or veteran, who served on airborne status in any unit for the united states government. We have subscribers from the US Army's airborne divisions and special forces command as well as airborne troops from partner services.
Any airborne association can be included into the "umbrella" of our publication. If you want to join the elite group of our readership, contact your chapter secretary and tell them, "I want The Canopy!" Have your chapter secretary email Ron Dahlgren to get the ball rolling.
